Description
Sometime back my wife and I took a jeep trip up to Yankee Boy Basin in Ouray. We were literally over 14,000 feet. Mount Sneffels is actually higher than Pikes Peak. This drawing is from that trip. I was always fascinated with the textures and tones of the mountains at that elevation.

Scott, This is a wonderful work of art! Colorado is most impressive. I noticed that you commented on a photo of Zion National Park. You must see it. I have been there many times and it has inspired several paintings of some of my favorite landmarks there. Angels Landing is one of THE best short hikes in the world! FAV / Like
