Artist's Description
Chellberg Farm was added to the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore in 1972. In 1869 the Chellbergs (Kjellbergs), a Sweedish immigrant family, purchased 80 acres (a large farm in those days) on the southern shores of Lake Michigan to farm. This brick home, built in 1885 to replace an earlier structure that burned, was home to three generations of Chellbergs. It has been restored to its early 1900s appearance by the National Park Service.

What a great capture of this wonderful old place! I have to get back there. The day I went was too sunny and I got a bit too much chromatic aberration. I hate that!
