About Scott Kingery
In college, I actually started out as a Forestry major before making the switch to Fine Art. Most of my art course work was completed at Sacramento State College in California, with an emphasis in Illustration. I received a BFA from Indiana University in 1977. I like experimenting with different media, exploring ways to add texture, and combining different media. That illustrator part of me always comes back to realism though. My favorite mediums have always been acrylic and collage. In recent years however, I have gone to working in colored pencils (prismacolor and also pastel pencils). I like the effects of layering colors. I...

Hi Scott, this I must say is a gorgeous picture of your Great Pyr. She is pretty much exactly like mine was. We lost her 3 years ago. I still miss her. I've seen a lot of Pyr pictures but they just didn't have the faces like ours. If you get a chance I have a few pictures of her if you'd like to see. I will vote for you in the Dog contest. Good luck. Erica http://pixels.com/profiles/ericamaxine-weiner.html?tab=artwork fave/g+
Scott Kingery replied:
Thank you, Erica. Sully actually is my daughter-in-law's dog. We were baby sitting him for a weekend when I shot this picture. I will check out your pictures.
Lois Bryan

Gorgeous photographic work, Scott ... fantastic tones in the whites ... such distinction and clarity!!!! f/v
Scott Kingery replied:
Thank you Lois. Sully, the dog in the photo is my son and fiance's dog. We had him for a day while they went to the zoo. I was tossing him pretzles. He is waiting patiently in the photo. Thanks again for the compliment.
