Artist's Description

I am not an expert on vintage cars, but from the photos I have looked through, I think this is a 1951 Chevy Fleetline Deluxe or Chevy Fastback. Same thing? This one sits in a field along route 52 between Fowler, Indiana and Lafayette, Indiana. Not much deluxe left though.

In college, I actually started out as a Forestry major before making the switch to Fine Art. Most of my art course work was completed at Sacramento State College in California, with an emphasis in Illustration. I received a BFA from Indiana University in 1977. I worked as a graphic artist for over thirty five years. My art interests have always been eclectic. I like experimenting with different media, exploring ways to add texture, and combining different media. That illustrator part of me always comes back to realism though. My favorite mediums have always been acrylic and collage. In recent years however, I have gone to working in colored pencils (prismacolor and also pastel pencils).
