About Scott Kingery
In college, I actually started out as a Forestry major before making the switch to Fine Art. Most of my art course work was completed at Sacramento State College in California, with an emphasis in Illustration. I received a BFA from Indiana University in 1977. Wow, Scott, this image takes me back!!! The table up against the window, the cupboard in the background the beadboard but especially that wonderful tablecloth!!! I'm back at Aunt Lil's house!!! Lovely pov ... great work with the tones!!! l/f
Scott Kingery replied:
Thanks so much, Lois. Original image was in color but it wasn't doing it for me until I changed it and started playing with the tones because straight black and white didn't grab me either. The warm monochromatic was the look it needed and I knew it as soon as I did it! I am really glad you liked it!

Love the angle and point of view here. I see the table set for the meal, but outside I see an open garage door as the world and work await the diner after the meal. Love the mason jars and bean pot on the checkered tablecloth!
Scott Kingery replied:
Thanks for the thoughtful comment, Karen.
