About Scott Kingery
In college, I actually started out as a Forestry major before making the switch to Fine Art. Most of my art course work was completed at Sacramento State College in California, with an emphasis in Illustration. I received a BFA from Indiana University in 1977. I worked as a graphic artist for over thirty five years. My art interests have always been eclectic. I like experimenting with different media, exploring ways to add texture, and combining different media. That illustrator part of me always comes back to realism though. My favorite mediums have always been acrylic and collage. In recent years however, I have gone to working in colored pencils (prismacolor and also pastel pencils). Wonderful work, perhaps the appeal of creating such images is that you can take everyday objects and create something new and beautiful. There are so many variations you could choose from working with one image, the magic is choosing the right one. This is really lovely. l/f

This is really, really cool. I love the symmetry, colors, composition... the whole package. I'm still trying to figure out how you did it, This would look awesome huge dominating a modern architectural wall. Very unique and beautiful. FVW

Thank you Scott. I play around with Paint Shop Pro. There are tools in the program for making these. Just have to experiment until you get what you like.
