Oh what fun this work would be if expanded with a more interesting background. My imagination runs wild. Great capture.

Thanks, Jeff. I would love to see what you would do with this. I would even send you the file. This clock actually hangs where I work,. It used to hang in Hammond's Goldblatt's store. The local preservation commission got the clock when the store closed and kept it in storage for years. When we renovated our library it was offered to us. The library's lobby design had to change some to accomodate the clock. About four thousand dollars went into restoring the clock. Funny thing though, the clock has four sides and they are never quite in sync- just like when it hung in the Goldblatt's store. Go figure!

In college, I actually started out as a Forestry major before making the switch to Fine Art. Most of my art course work was completed at Sacramento State College in California, with an emphasis in Illustration. I received a BFA from Indiana University in 1977. I worked as a graphic artist for over thirty five years. My art interests have always been eclectic. I like experimenting with different media, exploring ways to add texture, and combining different media. That illustrator part of me always comes back to realism though. My favorite mediums have always been acrylic and collage. In recent years however, I have gone to working in colored pencils (prismacolor and also pastel pencils).
