During the covid-19 stay at home requirement, I have been shooting things from around the house. I have had this book for over 50 years. I don't know why it was in the garage in a drawer, but I ran across it the other day. I never realized it was a first edition from 1936. Anyway, I never really took care of it. I had written on the cover and the book jacket was long gone. I was curious what it might be worth (if I had taken better care of it), so I looked it up. Not exactly Antiques Roadshow caliber, but in good condition it would have been worth $250. I threw a few things together to make this image.

Scott, this image immediately caught my attention on the home page of the ABC group! I love the story behind it too. I have a shelf of old western books I have collected over the years, including some of my parents books and I keep thinking I'm going to do more photography with them. I may just spend the week doing that. By the way, Will James is a great artist and author, definitely a keeper!
